ROLE PURPOSE: • To lead implementation & support technicians in building connectivity of Triple Play connections Key Accountabilities Key Activities / Decision Areas 1. Manage and implement the Triple Play devices/ customers Managing the deployment by leading senior technicians and technicians handling the implementation. Ensure the day-to –day deployment of Triple Play connectivity. Provide consultancy to other departments if needed. Support engineering, support, operations & commercial to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Manage Suppliers to deliver the agreed KPIs. Review and ensure execution of security procedures. Configure and test connectivity devices according to the setup design. 2. Network Availability Provide troubleshooting, analysis & problem solution for critical situations. remotely or on-site if needed Follow-up & prepare the Triple Play network planned activities to ensure fault free operation during different activity phases. 24x7 2nd line support On Call for network emergencies reported by First line support to fix critical problems. 3. Technical Development Participate in designing required customer networks solutions. Track industry changes and technologies. Propose new ideas and technologies to direct manager to meet customer’s needs. 4. Customers management Ensure all customer requests are done within the agreed service level agreement. Ensure smooth and quality system/service handover from the projects by being the main driver of acceptance testing on behalf/and with the customers. Manage escalations related to operational issues. Ensure customer satisfaction at all contact points. 5. Maintenance of triple play networks Fine tune the nodes to achieve smooth & high quality performance. Prepare/modify new/existing technical/support procedures/processes, for Team work enhancement. Provide recommendations on alternative technical options. Secure the network elements. 6. Interfacing Assess the need for vendors support intervention & follow-up with them regarding any relevant on site network issues. Provide technical support to relevant NMC teams, to improve potential technical capabilities. 7. Escalation and Reporting Follow the escalation & reporting procedure in due time. Report network problems in time with clear information to management for proper decision making. Report relevant network activities to management for proper follow-up. Report performance against agreed plans & KPIs. 8. Projects participation Participate in acceptance & testing of new nodes, systems, features & services. Implement software (minimum) & hardware system upgrades. Implement hardware system expansions. Prepare weekly project updates for Operations Manager. 9. Knowledge Transfer Act as technical reference to team members / technicians. Transfer the Know How to other team members to enhance the technical knowledge. . Education: Bachelor of Engineering, Communications & Electronics. Work Experience: • 3+ years experience in ISP in site engineering . PC Knowledge: • Microsoft operating systems. • Good knowledge of Microsoft office. Technical skills: • CCNA certified • CCNP knowledge. • IPTV Technical knowledge. • End-2- end voice system knowledge is a must. • Voice Solutions knowledge. • Hands on different vendors’ Data products (Ericsson and Alcatel, etc…). • Proper understanding of latest transmission technologies and their operation systems ( GPON , DWDM etc …) Personal skills: Dedicated & available to work flexible hours. Available to work 24x7 On Call. Well organized & able to work under pressure. Team spirit and cross functional capabilities. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, verbal & written. Strong analytical & decision making skills. Welling to learn, enthusiastic, highly/self motivated & disciplined. Customer care orientation & proactive attitude. Objective focused & result oriented. Setting priorities and time management skills. Project Management skill is a must. Scripting skills is a plus. Fluent in spoken & written English. Ability to travel inside/outside Egypt. High proficiency in MS Office applications.
